Reviews about Orinoco, The Oxfordshire Scrapstore.

  • 2018-01-03, by Liz H
Trying to list all the useful things I've had from Orinoco over the last 2 years, even though I don't use much stuff and am very strict with myself about carting anything home - fabric, including perfect pieces to fix much-loved clothes right up to amazing samples to make a throw (done) and maybe even a flowery jacket ( not yet done! ) So much useful paper, of all shapes, sizes and types, so that I never need to buy flipcharts or any other kind. Cards, postcards, envelopes, pens, plastic sleeves, folders, a very strangely sized box file which now holds some precious gardening archive, a stand for bracelets, a small table with shelves on castors, books both to read or look at and the wonderful prototype blank books, which mean I don't ever buy books for journalling or work notebooks and have lovely 'comments' books for my workshops. A fab weird metal planter that's now full of parsley. A very robust bag that goes to and from the allotment with all manner of stuff in it. A perfect;y shaped clipboard. That's not all. And there's often a cuppa on offer too. I'm not an arty crafty person, I sew and write and garden and sing and Orinoco has plenty of useful stuff for me. I've seen so many delighted people leaving with things that save them heaps of money. Always worth a go before you go and buy new.
